Restaurants at Alpensia Ski Resort

Are you an avid foodie? Not only is Alpensia Resort a popular spot for skiing and snowboarding in Korea, but it is also a great place for you to try many different restaurants and cafes. There are a variety of treats, drinks, and meals to fit everyone’s taste in the resort. Learn more about the restaurants at Alpensia Resort and some of our ski instructors’ favorites! We at JSKI have been teaching skiing at Alpensia for several years, so we’ve discovered the truly scrumptious dishes to take into consideration.

Yukdaejang- Korean Restaurant

Yukdaejang is a Korean restaurant specializing in yukgaejang, spicy beef soup, and bossam, pork belly boiled in earthy spices. This restaurant also offers various noodle and rice dishes as well as dumplings, so you can try many different types of Korean food here. You can personalize the level of spiciness on many dishes, so whether you are a red pepper lover or a spice-avoider, Yukdaejang can make it work for you. We recommend the original yukgaejang spicy beef soup if you’re feeling something with broth, and the premium pork belly set to share with your family.

Teriyaki- Japanese Family Restaurant

Teriyaki is a Japanese style restaurant with sushi, katsu, noodles, and donburi. The model food on display can help you see a realistic preview of your dish, so it can be helpful when choosing what to eat even when you don’t know much about Japanese food.

Yong Woo Dong- Udon Restaurant

It’s hard to beat a warm bowl of noodles after an eventful day of skiing or snowboarding. Yong Woo Dong specializes in udon noodles, but you can also get various Korean rice dishes such as the famous bibimbap.

Gisoya- Japanese Udon and Katsu Restaurant

Gisoya specializes in udon and katsu. For those who don’t know, katsu is thinly pounded meat which is then breaded fried to make a deliciously crispy cutlet. You can try katsu in a variety of ways such as with different sauces, rice, noodles, or broth.

Petit Mont- Food Court

Petit Mont is Alpensia’s food court that features dishes from many different countries. It is also a great place for snacks between activities. You can get churros, roasted sweet potatoes, and Korean sugar-filled pancakes (Hotteok) here.

Kloud Pub

If you’re looking for a place with refreshing beer, Kloud is the pub to go to. You can get all of the items on the menu including beer to-go or have it delivered to your room. Korean-style fried chicken with beer (chimaek) is an iconic Korean food duo that many have heard of, and you can give it a try at Kloud! Kloud Pub is located in Holiday Inn & Suites, so it is very convenient for those spending the night at Alpensia and looking for a late night treat.

Domino’s Pizza

Pizza is a go-to dish for many adults and children. You can get Domino’s Pizza here in Alpensia. While some might think pizza is a boring and ordinary option, Korean pizza restaurants offer various toppings and sauce combinations that are not offered in other countries. At Domino’s Pizza, you can try something new or order a classic like cheese and pepperoni pizza.

Lotteria- Fast Food Restaurant

Lotteria is a fast food restaurant with burgers, nuggets, and more. Lotteria is famous for its hanwoo (Korean beef) bulgogi burger. The sauce in the bulgogi burger gives it a spectacular savory taste that complements the veggies and the buns. This particular Lotteria at the Alpensia location does not have potato fries, so you can opt for something else like cheese sticks or squid rings.

Angel-in-us Coffee

Whether you want to help energize yourself up with caffeine or to enjoy some dessert after a meal, Angel-in-us Coffee has many options for you. Angel-in-us is famous for their waffles, so we recommend that you give them a try with a drink!
